My name is Abigail, and I have loved video games ever since I was about 4-6. Starting with games on Nintendo DS, I was amazed with how fun they could be. Now me, years later, know how video games work, somewhat. The first ever game I made and published, Mini Farmer, (can be found on this page) was created when I was 7. I competed in a 5 day game jam (I dont think I won). Of course, I had help from my dad, a pretty talented game developer, but that project was when I realized one of my favorite hobbies, other than drawing and writing, was making video games. Since then I have made more games, better ones, too. I also went to a summer camp for girls making video games, and me and my team had won once at that camp. I still love playing games, and now that I know how to somewhat make them, I appreciate the games I play way more, knowing the difficulty of making a small game.
My favorite part of game development is creating the storyline. I love writing books, even when books I started years and years ago have not been finished. I enjoy creating these fake stories, from romance to horror, and all the in between. While I do love writing books, I enjoy creating the storyline for video games because after you create a story you love, you get to make it real. It feels great knowing players love your story and your way of turning it into a game.
Since you've read this far, I'm assuming you enjoy video games too! Thanks for checking out my itch page. You might be leaving this page soon, but if you are staying, and you want to see all my new assets or games, thanks for coming along for the very wacky ride of creating video games! <3
